
American actress Anna Maria Chlumsky was born on December 3, 1980.[2] She began acting in the early years of her childhood and was first recognized for playing Vada Sultenfuss in the movie My Girl (1991) and its sequel, My Girl 2. Following her initial roles, she went on hiatus from 1999 to 2005 in order to go to college.Chlumsky returned to acting in performances in a number of independent films, including Blood Car (2007) and In the Loop (2009). Between 2012 and 2019, she played Amy Brookheimer, a character which brought the actress six nominations for Primetime Emmys for Outstanding Supporting Actress (Comedy Series) in addition to other accolades.
